These Terms & Conditions (’Terms’) govern all services provided by Convasis Web 2.0 Institute (“Convasis”) and all use of the website http://web.convasis.com (the “Website”) upon registering for one of the workshops provided as part of the service (“Workshops)”.
“Convasis Web 2.0 Institute” is a service operated by Convasis LLC for the purpose of educating students and entrepreneurs about the user of web technologies for enhancing business productivity and online marketing. Occasionally, Workshops may be conducted in partnership with other organizations or individuals.
"Workshop" refers to a full intensive all-session event taking place at a particular venue and provided by Convasis Web 2.0 Institute. It may also refer to individual sessions that are taught as part of the workshop.
"Website" refers to the Convasis Web 2.0 Institute website: http://web.convasis.com.
II. General Policies
By using the Site you agree to be bound by the Terms, which supersede all prior agreements and are complete and exclusive. No oral or written information given by us or on our behalf shall create a warranty or collateral contract, or in any way increase the scope of our liability, and no such information may be relied upon.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service to anyone at our sole discretion.
Subject to the Terms, Convasis will allow you to attend the Workshop and provide you with the materials described on the Website.
In the event that you are unable to attend a Workshop you may nominate another person to attend in your place, provided that Convasis is informed of the identity of any such attendee no less than one week prior to the relevant Workshop date.
Registration can be cancelled no less than one week prior to the relevant Workshop date. In the event of a cancellation, a refund of 80% of the purchase price will be made available with 20% being held for administrative costs. The refund will be in the same form as the original payment. If the cancellation is done by Convasis, a full 100% refund will be issued.
Convasis cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from attendance at any Workshop.
Convasis reserves the right to use any feedback collected in relation to the Workshops for promotional purposes.
Fees must be payable at the time that you register for a Workshop.
Convasis shall be entitled to cancel any Workshop and terminate this agreement by notice to you at any time.
Convasis does not represent or warrant that: (i) the provision of the Workshop(s) will be timely, uninterrupted or error-free, (ii) the Workshops will meet your requirements or expectations, (iii) errors or defects will be corrected. The Workshops are provided to you strictly on an "as is" basis. All conditions, representations and warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third party rights, are hereby disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Convasis shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, business or business benefit, or the cost of procurement of substitute products or services by you arising from:
- cancellation of a Workshop;
- attendance at a Workshop;
- alteration of the times, dates, itineraries or speakers of any Workshop; or
- any delay or failure to provide a Workshop that is due to third parties, including but not limited to internet service providers, data centres, server hosting companies and telecommunications companies,
even if advised by you or any other party of the possibility of such damages.
You shall not reassign tickets without the prior written consent of Convasis.
Neither party will be liable for any loss or damages arising from delays resulting from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of such party, provided that the nonperforming party uses reasonable efforts to avoid or remove such causes of nonperformance and continues performance hereunder with reasonable dispatch whenever such causes are removed.
III. Content
Any information and analysis on or included in any email alert from us (“Material”) is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’. Any Material is provided in good faith, and whilst we will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the accuracy of Material, we make no warranties (express or implied) regarding accuracy or completeness or fitness for any purpose, and we expressly exclude any liability in respect thereof (other than warranties not capable of exclusion).
The information in the Material may be updated from time to time and may at times be out of date. We accept no responsibility for keeping the Material up to date, and no liability for any failure to do so. No liability is accepted for any errors, or for any losses that may be incurred if any Material is relied on.
Except as stated below, the contents of this Site may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without our prior express written permission.
You may not distribute, display or copy any Material to third parties including (but not limited to) ‘caching’ any material from the Site for access by third parties, and ‘mirroring’ any Material on this Site.
You must ensure that your use of the Site and of any Material is in no way unlawful, and you will fully indemnify us against any liability we may incur as a result of any use by you which is unlawful, or which is in breach of these terms.
All services provided by Convasis may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Convasis it’s affiliates and its employees from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party. Convasis will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to Convasis’s affiliate servers or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials may also be prohibited.

This site contains links to external websites. Convasis is not responsible for, and has no control over, the content of such sites. Information on this site, or available via hypertext link from this site, is made available without responsibility on the part of Convasis.
Convasis disclaims all responsibility and liability (including negligence) in relation to information on or accessible from external sites.
V. System and Network Abuse
Any attempt to undermine, compromise the security of, or otherwise cause harm to any Convasis or their affiliate’s equipment or customer accounts is strictly prohibited and will result in the cancellation of the account and possible legal action for any disruption to service or damages to Convasis's network, web sites, services, and its affiliates' network configurations or equipment.
VI. Website Files
Although Convasis does perform backups, you do not hold Convasis liable for any loss of data either on your or Convasis's part. Convasis has the right to delete all data, files, or other information in the customers web site account without providing backup copies to the Account Holder if either you or Convasis terminates your account with Convasis for any reason.
You understand that should you cancel your account for anytime for any reason, or if Convasis and its affiliates cancel your account at any time for any reason, or if Convasis cancels overall services anytime for any reason, their web site files and content are not transferrable and cannot be hosted or modified by any other agency and will not be relinquished to your ownership by Convasis or its affiliates.
VII. Limited Liability
Use of Convasis’s services is at the customer’s sole risk. Neither Convasis, its employees, affiliates, third party services, merchant licensors or the like, warrant that Convasis web hosting service will not be interrupted or error free. Convasis will make every good faith effort to ensure that its web servers are available to as many Internet users as possible and that there is minimal interruption of service as possible. In no circumstance will Convasis, its employees, or its affiliates be liable for any claims, any action either direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, or any damages either punitive or alleged to have resulted, including loss of profits, from the use of or inability to use Convasis services, from service interruptions, from customer errors or problems with their Internet connectivity, from unauthorized access to Convasis hosting services, from communication failure, from bandwidth congestion or interruptions, or from acts of God.
